Keyboard comes in from the side, renders in two different styles

When I navigate to a page with the editor, the keyboard will sometimes come from the bottom of the screen as expected, but usually it comes in from the right side, after the new navigation page has already completely transitioned. It also renders fully black at first, and then takes on a frosted appearance. Example:
