System sound processing cannot be disabled.
System sound processing is not disabled. After a factory reset, system sound processing continues to work even if the "Ignore system notifications" toggle switch is active.

Most likely you have some kind of system notification that is not in EasyEffects built-in blocklist. Unfortunately there isn't an universal way to block all of them. We have blocked just a few of the notification sounds that I am aware gnome and kde have.
You will have to find the node name of the playback stream playing the notification sound so we can add it to our blocklist. Running EasyEffects in debug mode may help with this easyeffects --debug. Or running pr-wop in a terminal.

A little history. I previously turned off the "Ignore system sounds" switch, and all system sounds started playing through EasyEffects. Then I decided to turn it back on a few days later because I was hearing some crackling sounds. They continued playing through the program even after the reset. Strange. The only playback stream there is LibreWolf. It does not look like there system notifications going through EasyEffects. For example when I enable effects for notifications and I change my desktop volume the stream that plays notifications now goes through easyeffects and can be briefly be seen even in our window.
