Microphone wont show up and wont effect
Im using Zorin OS Education as operating system i alredy looked up this issue nowhere was an solution that worked for me i alredy tried flatpak to give easy effects the microphone permission but flatpak cant give it
it would just not show anything if i press on the none thing so how can i give easy effects those permissions ?
I do not think this is caused by a missing permission. We need permission to autostart when the user login. Not for seeing the devices. My guess is that your pipewire installation is not complete. In many distributions it is necessary to also install a package named like pipewire-pulse or similar.
I installed the package like same issue i cant turn it on, on flatpak (and it wont detect in easy effects)
Run the command pw-cli list-objects Node in a terminal. What is its output? If PipeWire command line tools are not able to see you hardware EasyEffects will never be able to do it.
Did you reboot your computer after installing the package?
Something is clearly wrong in your pw-cli output. Your soundcard and your microphone node should be there. But they aren't. Something is definitely missing in your pipewire installation. It will probably be necessary to ask about this in Zorin OS forums.
btw for those who ask i alredy completely reinstalled pipewire, same issue *
ok i fixed the error with the dissappearing micn stuff but now it doesnt show the easyeffects stuff in input and output
Wait so were making progress it shows the thingies now but like not shows it in that spektrum
