Describe the bug
Ive tried on both AUR (I think or arch linux i cant remember which one it was) and flatpak and both times get the same issue, not only does it seem to work only when monitoring is on, it doesnt create an easy effects mic option to choose from and stops the mic outputing to anything else
Expected Behavior
not to do any of that, i previously used bazzite for testing something and found easyy effects and it worked perfectly normal

I think I will need images to understand what is happening. When the mic monitor is not enabled you will only get activity in the mic pipeline if there is an audio application recording audio.
