Low volume
Hi,
I'm a regular use of EasyEffects. Not a coder/developer but can paste results, perform step by step tasks.
I use Digitalone1's loudnessequalization presets. I've noticed that the overall volume is low compared to the similar preset used for PulseEffects.
Increasing volume manually from "Effects" tab (bottom, middle) doesn' have much impact. Please advise as to how can one increase the overall volume output received via EasyEffects.
Let me know if this issue is better addressed by @Digitalone1 and I'll post it there.
Best, Rohit
I use Digitalone1's loudnessequalization presets.
The one that uses the gate plugin? Maybe the level getting to the gate is to low for it to open. In this case increasing the gate input gain or the output gain of whatever is sending audio to it may help.
If possible try to take a print of EasyEffects screen and attach it here on github so we can see how the level meter are.

If I remember correctly, the EE preset is slightly different from the PE one.
Anyway, if you want to raise the overall volume, try to clone the preset into a new one and adjust it with one or both of the followings:
- lower the Multiband Compressor ratio for each band and increase the Output Gain;
- lower the threshold of the Limiter and increase its Output Gain (the Input Gain is set to
-2, you can also bring it to0).

Regret late reply. I've tried to increase the gate output seen here, but in a few seconds it goes back to the original sound.

Umm...I don't know how to do that..
I must add that I am very happy in general with EE (or PE). This is the best sound I've heard in the movies in my entire life (PC usage for ~25 years, Windows).
Umm...I don't know how to do that..
After loading the preset, just create a new one (for example Loudness Equalizer 2).

I don't recommend to touch the Gate. Modify the Multiband Compressor and/or the Limiter as I stated above.

Ok, I understand better now. I'll try these actions.
* lower the Multiband Compressor ratio for each band and increase the Output Gain; * lower the threshold of the Limiter and increase its Output Gain (the Input Gain is set to `-2`, you can also bring it to `0`).
Ok, I tried these 2 steps. It works. Noticeable improvement in overall output. I'll have to play around a bit to customize it to my taste.
Many thanks @Digitalone1
So much has changed that is probably better to close this issue
