EasyEffects Version

Easy Effects 7.1.9

What package are you using?

Fedora

Distribution

Fedora 41

Describe the bug

Installed Easy Effects 7.1.9 in Fedora 41 from Flatpak. I test noise reduction effect when recording from microphone in Audacity. Selecting as default input device in Audacity: 'pipewire', 'pulse', 'default' give the same result. The same problem when try to use the mic in Firefox browser. The device appears in Easy Effects, but with 0% loudness. When I try to increase volume, it gives me to do that, but in 2-3 seconds the volume drops back to 0%.

Expected Behavior

When setting volume of an application in the Input tab of Easy Effects, it should stay at the level it was set, and don't change.

The one actually managing streams volumes is WirePlumber. In EasyEffects there is just a control that asks WirePlumber to set a given value.
