[Request] Dry/Wet Mix a̶n̶d̶ ̶D̶r̶y̶/̶W̶e̶t̶ ̶T̶i̶m̶e̶/̶S̶y̶n̶c̶ ̶O̶f̶f̶s̶e̶t̶ Sliders/Levels for the Convolver effect
I would personally love to have these since there are pre-made impulse responses files that require having dry audio to be mixed along with the impulse-processed one (wet).
What would be the use for dry/wet sync/offset adjustment? I'm not very familiar with the more involved side of impulse response stuff, so just curious to understand the use case.
I agree that a dry/wet mix would probably be useful. It shouldn't be too hard to implement. I'll have a closer look later today or tomorrow.
I think I had the intention of doing that and completely forgot about it.

In most cases they allow the effect strength to be controlled. I do not know if something special happens when using them in a convolver.
I thought the dry/wet mix was the primary way to control effect "strength"?
I still don't really understand why dry/wet time offset would be needed.

I am not sure. Usually time difference creates echo/reverberation. But that is what many impulse files already do. Maybe this would allow to fine tune the reverberation.
I make and use my own impulse response files for speaker/headphone equalization, in addition to (sometimes) adding pre-made IR file(s) in another Convolver for spatial effects to the audio output.
For example: Dolby Headphone IRS.zip
Thinking about it now, the time/sync stuff might not be needed. But the dry/wet sliders are definitely needed on these types of IR files.
Wet and Dry would be great to have. I don't want to apply the filter 100% often. - Wet and Dry should be available for all effects.
Dry/wet is good to control how much of the effect is needed, be that EQ, reverb, cabinet or analogue FX emulation, whatever. Offset is is needed because real world IRs generally have phase issues when mixed with dry audio. This is why a "pre-delay" feature to delay wet audio by n milliseconds is included in all convolution reverb plugins (occasionally combined with ways to add early reflections using algorithmic reverb). Adding delay to reverb can also create better separation between the dry audio and the reverb, and a sense that the dry audio is closer to you relative to the room reflections.
Just came here to express my interest in this feature. My use case is for convolution EQ where dry/wet is needed. When I mix audio on headphones I use IRs from AutoEQ. I apply a first IR to calibrate my headphones for a flat response, and then I apply a second IR to produce a Harmon over-ear curve 2018, but at only 76% mix. It would be nice to use this setup globally using Easy Effects.

Can't you add the Delay effect before the Convolver?

If you have a wet and dry mix, then no, because the delay is only added to the wet signal. The delay is for when there is dry and wet mixed, it would currently be useless.
I still intend to do it. It just happens plenty of higher priority stuff still is to be done.
Wet/Dry Mix Ratio should be a standard properties for all effects. :)
