Is this project abandoned?

Both SublimePTY and SublimeREPL are on hold until SublimeHQ gets their s*$& together and either:

  • resume releasing builds of Sublime Text 3 according to a reasonably consistent schedule (at least once every month)
  • OR start communicating with the community in any way (no, 5 months of radio silence is not communicating)

Sorry :)

I've been thinking about this too.

My current setup involves both rails and node apps, doing full stack work. So I spend a lot of time editing in sublime, working with git in a terminal, running tests and local servers in the terminal, and a suite of other shell operations.

Having used tmux for a multi-pane shell setup for a while (alongside sublime), a single shell pane inside sublime is not going to cut it for my workflow. For it to work, I would need to have multiple panes/tabs of shell alongside my sublime editing panes. I am not sure if this will actually help, because then I will have more panes than I might want to or can afford to have on my screen. IOW, sublime alongside a good multi-pane Terminal app[1.] might be the most productive setup for me.

my 2 cts.

[1.] tmux sux when it comes to getting mouse scrolling and cut and paste working at the same time. Yes, I use MouseTerm.
