Support for any cheaper arms

Hello! I'm new to the topic so I may miss the point but would it be possible (and reasonable) to prepare GELLO controller for cheaper arms? The models that come to my mind are Dobot Magician or RR1 Robot Arm?

If that makes sense, maybe it would be worth doing in order to continue achieving the goal of "make everything more accessible".

If there are no such plans but it would be still beneficial, could I get some hints on how to approach this project?
