[Feature Request] Add "magnifier view" for more accurate selections
Hi there! … I love Kap, it's great. Thank you for making it.
if you guys have the time and want to add a meaningful feature, I suggest the "magnifier view" feature used by Xnip — (see attached screenshot gif). When you are making your selection it offers a zoomed in view for pixel perfect selections.
cheers.
I wouldn't want that by default, but maybe we could show it if the user holds the Option key.
Any interest in this feature? … Xnip uses a color picking tool that handles the magnification.
I'd also really like such a feature, maybe with an option in the settings to enable or disable it.
Just from an implementation perspective, would it be ok to have a static image of the screen and use that for magnification? Or would it be important the magnification be live if something is animating/moving in the screen below?

I think live would be way better and the only solution but for a first version, a static image is absolutely sufficient, I think.
xnip
makes the screen static (stopping animations) when the app is invoked. Seems acceptable from UX perspective.
I like @sindresorhus idea of having the option key show the magnifier.
Static is totally fine.
