Can't give access to screen recording on macOS Sequoia
macOS version: Version 15.0 Beta (24A5289h) Kap version: 3.6.0
Steps to reproduce
- Open Kap
- Open settings to allow screen recording warning shows even though screen recording is enabled
- Kap can't record screen
I've also tried enabling audio recording too, but no luck.
see this: https://github.com/wulkano/Kap/issues/1231
I received a new access prompt after upgrading to macOS Sequoia 15.0 (24A335):
“Kap” is requesting to bypass the system private window picker and directly access your screen and audio.
This will allow Kap to record your screen and system audio, including personal or sensitive information that may be visible or audible.
Button: Allow For One Month Button: Open System Settings
It's now working for me on macOS Sequoia 15.0 (24A335). I get the same prompt as @karlhorky but after allowing things don't crash any longer.

I use Sequoia as well, with the build version from that link I shared above, I don't get this issue. It's probably related to the use of Rosetta, that's my guess.
