Option to Disable Overlay in Non-Recording Screen

I have a 2 monitor setup and screen record one monitor at a time. Every time I start recording, there is a overlay on the monitor that is not being record by Kap. I can turn off the overlay by opening the preferences on Kap.

Is there away to disable the overlay by default?
