The problem isnt that the sensor creates negative values. Just to be clear about this. on my side its more a problem when the device is offline for a while....

just for reference: I used this awesome script to fix my values in my HA DB. dont know if its related but it does fixes my values afterwards. https://github.com/Bl4DEx/HA_FixNegativeStatistics

i use some SDM meters via esphome: https://esphome.io/components/sensor/sdm_meter and some over zigbee2mqtt connected smart plugs, innr sp120: https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/devices/SP_120.html#innr-sp%2520120 got this kind of issue on booth
