I think the best long term approach is to let the library consumer handle creating static instances (if that is what they really want...), but that would possibly break some...

@JChrist Better late than never, but I just pushed v1.2.1 which fixes your test case.

This seems like a neat idea but non trivial! gRPC generates dart entities along with client and server stubs (including json serialization)- but those entities are not compatible with Aqueduct's...
