It's better to include the spike or drop count in alert dashboard for Abnormal Request Count

Open tgtshanika opened this issue 6 years ago • 2 comments

Description: Pre-Condtion - Abnormal Request Count alert should be generated and displayed in alert dahsboard

  1. Go to Admin Portal -> Alert dashboard

Generated alerts for all alert types should be displayed. 'Abnormal Request Count' alert message includes count in here. (Check attachment- Request Count displayed in All Alerts )

  1. Select 'Abnormal Request Count' from the drop down

Only 'Abnormal Request Count' alerts should be diplayed. In here, it's better to include the count of abnormal requests in message body. (Check attachment - Drop or Spike count of Abnormal RC ) . If there're 2 nearby alerts available with same time frame, user might get confused a bit.

@fazlan-nazeem is this support in a newer version? Or do we have any limitations to support this in 3.2.0?

We do not send alerts for request drops now. However for request spikes we can improve the alert message with the number of requests exceeded than the configured limit.
