Write new content, guides or tutorials
If you're a content creator or writer and want to help write new guides, tutorials or anything. Feel free to reach out! Happy to jam on new ideas and content that could be added to the site.
Hey there!
My name is Jessie Mongeon and I'm the Technical Writer for Filebase, a Web3 cloud storage solution.
I've created a variety of Web3 tutorials that can be viewed at:
https://docs.filebase.com/knowledge-base/web3-resources/web3-tutorials
I'd love to learn how to contribute some of these tutorials and guides to the useWeb3 site.
Let me know the best way to move forward.
Thanks!
Hi Jessie,
You can submit any resources via a PR onto the content folder. Have a look at the format from other files https://github.com/wslyvh/useWeb3/tree/main/content
I've also started developing new learning features where you could actually structure lesson/courses. It would be great to collaborate on some decentralized storage modules.
@wslyvh submitted some resources, please review! 🙏
Thanks @heypran - amazing work!
Gm, I have some spare time and could try to write a guide (similar to the "What is Web3" guide).
Ideas: a web3 glossary, a book guide, newsletter overview, or intros to sub-topics like DeFi, DAOs or NFTs
I've been thinking about a revamp of useWeb3. It's hard to keep track of relevant and up to date resources and the overviews are getting too cluttered already.
So yes @JanetMo, I'd definitely love to see more guides and like the idea of dividing them into sub-categories and key areas/topics. Your list makes sense, Web3 glossary, a Solidity guide, DeFi, DAOs, NFTs, all very welcome!
I'd also welcome you to join our 30-days of Web3 challenge. More info https://twitter.com/wslyvh/status/1747284648067993877
Too much resources is a good problem I think (-:
I can try to start with a web3 glossary and will share the draft here. And thanks for sharing the challenge, I registered 👍
Gm, here's the draft for a web3 glossary, you should be able to adapt it. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Z7GkRY4mIwRUr9huS6fs_AW4rV7FgXxV9KgaF7PlPzA/edit?usp=sharing
If that's fine, I can create a PR. (-:
These are awesome! Thank you!
Yes, please feel free to submit a PR :) Probably makes most sense to submit as a guide, similar to 'best resources to learn Solidity' e.g. https://github.com/wslyvh/useWeb3/blob/main/content/guides/best-resources-to-learn-solidity.md
Thanks, I submitted a PR for the guides section.
Some of the guides look a little squeezed together on my screen, but I would not know how to fix that in markdown 🙈
