Editing the json config file externally

Thank you for maintaining such a comprehensive tool that was definitely a missing piece for me.

I did a quick search in the profile directory, but I might be missing something about how addons work.

Is there a way to access the config json object object outside of Thunderbird? I believe that editing the json outside of Thunderbird might be more ergonomic than copy-pasting.

I like to use the userChromeJS addon to define large helper functions to use in the tbkeys settings.

I save the userChrome.js file using an external text editor, then click the restart button to test.
