Applet Randomly Overlaps with other Applets when using Latte Dock

Open cachandlerdev opened this issue 4 years ago • 0 comments

Summary

When starting Latte Dock, the applet sometimes overlaps with other widgets. This issue remains until Latte Dock is restarted, or the user right clicks on Latte Dock and hits the Edit button (which I'm guessing 'refreshes' the widgets somehow, and fixes the problem). *

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a Latte Dock dock/panel.
  2. Add Virtual Desktop Bar to the dock/panel.
  3. Change the desktop label style to Number. **
  4. Add a Latte Separator or other applet to the right of the Virtual Desktop Bar.
  5. Close and reopen Latte Dock.

Current behaviour (bug)

Sometimes, when Latte Dock starts up, the Virtual Desktop Bar overlaps with the widget on its right side. This is the only applet where I've seen this occur.

Expected behaviour (correct)

The applet would use the correct amount of space, and not randomly overlap with other widgets.

Other comment (optional)

*I have not tested to see if this issue is also present when using the default Plasma panels. **I have not tested to see if the applet needs to use the Number desktop label style. Since that is the only style I use, it is the only style where I've seen this bug occur.
