Too many Alt+Tab thumbnails

WM3 clutters up my ALT+TAB screen, with an ever-increasing number of WM3 thumbs. The longer I work, the more of them pile up. Even after closing down WriteMonkey, the thumbs still remain in Alt+Tab, each showing a black screen (screenshot 1).

After restarting WM, all thumbs from the last time around are still there. But now they reflect the currently active document and theme (screenshot 2). And Windows keeps adding more and more WM thumbs. All other apps behave normally, though. It happens with Writemonkey only.

I am on Windows 11 Pro. And I relocated WM's data_directory to another drive. And yet, WM still writes tons of files to "User\AppData\Local", into various subfolders (databases, IndexedDB, File System, etc.). Is this normal behavior? Could it be related to the Alt+Tab problem?
