Spell check setting not retained between sessions

I'm not sure if this is a bug or an enhancement request.

The setting turning spellcheck on is not retained between sessions. This is quite important. I have already sent out work containing spelling mistakes because I didn't realise it had been turned off again!

+1 I have been bothered by this for quite a while. If nothing else just reverse the setting so spell check is on by default so one would have to turn it off each session if one wanted.

I just want to +1 this -- having to turn spellcheck on during each session, no matter how easy it is, is kind of annoying because I usually don't remember until I am in the thick of writing something. Even a flag that I would have to edit in the settings file, to keep spelling on by default, would be great. Thanks again for such a great piece of software!

+1 Same here, using v3.3.0. I thought I was doing something wrong.
