Feature Request: Relative paths for images
Hi,
I didn't see this suggested yet. According to documentation you can add images to your document from your local machine by specifying its path .
The problem with this is that depends on the operating system (in my case I share the same hard drive with MacOS and Windows, and I use WM from both with the same database, but I wouldn't be able to correctly see those images in both Windows and MacOS). It also forces you to be careful with where do you store those files or folders, that maybe you eventually need to move to a different path or maybe you change to a different computer.
It would be ideal to be also able to specify a path like or
which would be just the image directly in the same folder that the WM3 database is located, or in any subfolder inside the folder where WM3 is located.
Could this be a feature that we might see implemented in the future?
The lack of relative paths really makes this program a significant step down from Typora, which I'm looking to migrate away from since they moved to a paid-with-DRM model. My workflow is to put all the images I want into the same folder as my markdown file and then just reference them as figure1.png, etc. If I have to put in the full path each time it's much more of a pain.
