Order/Orderby in [wpsight_listings] doesn't work if params have been set within shortcode

When using the following shortcode, the order/orderby options doesn't work properly. The params of the shortcode seems to be dominant - which results in listings getting loaded properly by date/desc but the user can't use the order selectbox to choose a different option.
