Option to Prevent Widgets from Auto Resizing

Right now, if the size of the window changes or the widget selection pane on the left is changed in size, the resultant size change of the right pane causes larger widgets to shrink in size to accommodate the smaller pane. However, these widgets do not return to their larger size. It would be nice to have an option to disable this shrinking. That way it is easer to open the widget selection pane, drag a widget in, and close the pane without worrying about the elements already in the right pane being shrunk. Or, as what seems to happen often, the drive team changes the size of the window accidentally and ruins the layout.

I second this request. I like to maximize the width of the screen, which means that when I open up the source browser, all the widgets on the right size shrink.

Should the "default" behavior be NOT to resize?
