I have a site that uses https in the wordpress configuration. The password protect seems to want to just use http. Is that correct or am I missing something?

I haven't done much testing with SSL.

At what point is it defaulting to http? When it redirects to the login page? After logging in?

You can try it here: howardhsp.com

You will see that the URL that is generated in the address bar does not have the "s".

https://howardhsp.com/?password-protected=login&redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fhowardhsp.com%2F

I am just using the WP configuration to specify the use of SSL. It might work better if I specify the use of SSL in the server configuration. Not a big deal, I just thought I would mention it.
