Cannot translate 404 page title in browser

Open simkoG opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

Hello,

I couldn't translate the browser's page title on 404 pages with SeoPress activated. Without SeoPress, the 404-page title is written in the WordPress language (which is easily translatable), but after plugin activation, the page title always will be "404 - Page not found".

Page title without SeoPress ("Oldal nem található" means "Page not found" in Hungarian): without-seopress-hu

After SeoPress activation (without any translation): seopress-hu

The tranlated string in Loco Translate: loco-translate

wp-seopress-hu_HU.po: image

The page title after string translate: seopress-translated-string-hu

Hi,

edit this field to change the value for 404 archive pages.

If you use WPML or Polylang to translate your site, please follow this guide:

https://www.seopress.org/support/guides/translate-seopress-options-with-wpml-polylang/

If you need support with our plugin, please open a ticket from your customer area, or w.org
