Sorry, don't have more than the vague description "I was trying to make it work within a project otherwise using Rollup 3, but it didn't". But I managed to work...
I'd love to see this enhancement happen. Must admit that I don't know very much about how it might work in other packers - but webpack indeed supports dynamic requires....
Would very much like to see this get implemented
