These are notes based on course participants' feedback for us to revisit in case we decide to run the course again.

  • Two themes kept recurring in participants feedback: asking more hands-on material and being less technical. We should emphasize from the start of the course and in advertising it that
    • This is a graduate level course for people who already have some experience in research, and that we will assume familiarity with many relevant research concepts
    • This course is not focused on coding
