Blinking images in Reader

The featured images often blink after user actions. It usually happens after going to the post and then back but on this screenshot, it happens after a like. Using the app for 1-2 min will produce several blinks, however it's difficult for me to say what causes it as the images mostly don't blink.

Related issue: https://github.com/wordpress-mobile/WordPress-iOS/issues/23992. The cell should not reload when the like status changes. It should only update the button.
