Added audio or video URLs are not parsed correctly, resulting in unplayable media blocks

Open ScenarioKG opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

Expected behavior

The added audio or video should be parsed correctly, and the media block should be playable.

Actual behavior

The added audio or video is not parsed correctly, resulting in an unplayable block.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Click the 'Create a post or page' icon
  2. Click the 'Blog post' button
  3. Click the 'Audio'/'Video' icon
  4. Click the 'Insert from URL'
  5. Enter a valid URL, e.g., "https://youtu.be/g-6g2uEjF1s?si=fkwLragUSjLV7x1u"
  6. Tap the 'Done' button on the keyboard
  7. Click the outside of the 'Insert from URL' pop-up
  8. Click the 'Three-dot' menu
  9. Click the 'Preview' button

Notes

There is only one option (Insert from URL) for adding an audio block but four options for adding a video block. Is this discrepancy intentional, or should there be additional options for adding audio blocks?

Tested on [device], Android [version], JPAndroid / WPAndroid [version]

Galaxy A14 5G, Android 13, JPAndroid / WPAndroid 25.2.1 (1444)
