A 'Customize' bar overlaps the 'Site Title' in preview and persists after refreshing

Open SoapOperaTester opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

Expected behavior

The 'Site Title' should be fully visible and not obscured by any UI elements during preview or after refreshing the page.

Actual behavior

Step 5: The 'Customize' bar overlaps with the 'Site Title' during the preview. Step 6: After refreshing the page, the 'Customize' bar continues to overlap with the 'Site Title'.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

Note: This issue seems to be related to the onboarding UI for new sites

  1. Press the “Add new” button.
  2. Select the blog post option.
  3. Add any text or media.
  4. Select the triple dot icon in the upper right.
  5. Select ‘Preview’.
  6. Tap the refresh button in the upper right. Screenshot

Notes

After clicking the 'Customize' button and returning to the app, the button changes color to black, making it difficult to see against the background.

Tested on [device], Android [version], JPAndroid / WPAndroid [version]

Galaxy S21 5G, Android 15, JPAndroid / WPAndroid 25.2.1 (1444) Screenshot_for_button

Hi! Thank you for your interest in the issue. Yes, it's still available. So, feel free to start working on it :)

Note: this looks like the UI glitch happens in the new site UI onboarding. So, maybe not reproducible for already existing sites.
