Well the default woocomerce catalog page for storefront, my only real issue is the large margins / lack of styling around the products. I understand we should make our own edits, but a lot of people would probably enjoy the product catalog having mouse over

Default Storefront Bazar Shop Bazar Shop Mouse-over Most themes will add a sale banner/image overlay rather than a Giant button saying sale... the margins/padding are massive.... I think this other one looks much better, it's Yith Bazar Shop's default woocomerce catalog. But yith's performance is bad, and no ability to auto update the theme so would prefer to move over to storefront, if this is not added by the git team, my partner will design it for my site... I just think lots of people would like an overhaul like this... In bazar shop the sale icon is a triangle in the top corner of a product's image; I just disable sale icon because everything is on sale...

It looks like a customization not everybody needs. But you can always post a feature request on http://ideas.woocommerce.com/ You should probably think more about mobile usability, depending on your visitors of course.

My visitors are mostly desktop as I'm selling PC games. Bazar shop just shows the mouse-over view, on mobile; works great. The theme is from 2012 though, so has lots of outdated junk bogging it down; lack of minification functions that no longer work as they were dependent on parts of woocomerce/wordpress...
