Missing or Incorrect Data

πŸ”Ž Isolate the bug

I'm running the latest version of WooCom, WordPress and the FB Plugin but when I'm trying to sync products it allows some to appear but others I'm getting an Missing or Incorrect Data error in my FB catalogue.

I have confirmed this occurs in the most recent version of WordPress, WooCommerce, and Facebook for WooCommerce. I have confirmed this occurs when only WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce are active and when using a default WordPress or WooCommerce theme.

Hi, I'm having same problem. Does someone know how to solve it?

Same problem here too. I changed the SKU number of a product which was already in Facebook catalogue. Then the product got synced twice because of the different SKU numbers. I deleted both version, the issue still persists. I cleared the Facebook metadata on the product page too.

Okay so, they never fixed this. But I found my own solution using an alternative plugin to upload a custom feed to a Facebook Catalog. I used CTX Feed Pro and disabled the variations from uploading to Facebook. I also deleted the additional images to prevent the products from being rejected. For the pixel I used PixelMySite. Both are working flawlessly now. It's disappointing that I had to use unofficial plugins to fix issues Facebook hasn't addressed for years. I'm a developer and have never had the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin work correctly upon uploading variation data. So glad I could find a solution for my clients, small businesses that rely on these giants (who don't seem to care).
