Glitch while sliding on mobile

The slides do not slide smoothly on Google Chrome for iOS. Safari works fine. Even upon testing the flexslider 2 demo on the the website from Chrome, to ensure its not my set up, it still presents me with the same issue.

When the user hits either nav button, or on auto slide, the image moves slightly but then jumps to the next slide rather than a thoroughly smooth transition.
