Add some justification for why this specific package and versions are important.
According to a recent survey (November 2023) postfix is the second most popular MTA after Exim https://www.securityspace.com/s_survey/data/man.202310/mxsurvey.html
It's included in default package repos for a number of distros including Ubuntu, Debian, Red Hat UBI, Alpine

Postfix is also a popular choice for dockerized mail service images like mailu, mailcow and docker-mailserver (of which I'm a maintainer).
Although it doesn't appear that Wolfi has much mail software packaged?
@IceCodeNew I received a notification but the comment is not visible here. It misunderstood when the last Postfix release was, thinking it was two years ago.

- Last release was 3.9.0 in March 2024.
- I actively maintain a docker project that uses Postfix, so it is very much still a relevant package (one of the leading ones for MTAs). Although I already pointed this out in my previous comment, so bit odd to think Postfix wouldn't be relevant 😅
Personally I'm not likely to use a Wolfi postfix myself as I get the impression that Wolfi would be a bit tricky to compose all the services that docker-mailserver bundles into one image.
