Is this package being mantained?

Hello, is this package still being mantained? I have some functionalities that would like to implement and submit PRs, but since the last release was in 2021 I don't know if it's best to submit a PR or just fork this repo and work on my own version.

Is there a plan to create a new version? (and if so, is there a release estimate?) Can I submit PRs to this project? Or is best to fork and work on my own?

Definitely submit PRs here, as they will be merged.

I am maintaining this package, and I am accepting PRs from various users. Didn't have that many in the past year or so, though.
