Alert dialog wont allow ping local gateway

Alert dialog box will not allow outgoing ICMP v4 ping (from 'System' port 8 to 192.168.1.1)

"The corresponding rule has not been created"

Does this error also happen if you disable the port-checkbox in the "advanced rule settings" panel?

Hi, I was facing the same issue as well. I can confirm that disabling the "Port 8" switch in the Advanced Settings panel of the Alert box solves the problem. Now I can carry out pings and traceroute commands normally. Thanks!

Port might need to be fixed for ICMP. A special case could be added.
