Time deviation putting eggs in water and start timer

situation: 1.) water boils 2.) put eggs in water 3.) start eggtimer timer

between step 2 & 3 there might be 5seconds or more...

idea: one can also opt for a time correction, so the timer time is started with an offset of +- seconds, compensating for reaching for the smartphone and hit the button...
