Camera Sometimes Stops Working After Locking (Android 14)
The video will continue getting longer until I press stop, but no actual content will be added to it after I lock the phone I'm using. The filesize will reflect the actual length of the video. It's running Android 14 (LineageOS 21).
I do not have that issue on Android 14. Have you tried setting energy optimization for this app to unrestricted?
The only setting I have available to me is "Allow background usage", which is turned on.

I unlock it with either the unlock button or the fingerprint sensor. It's a Pixel 5a. Are there any logs I can provide that might be helpful?
Also of note, even if the video continues recording, the microphone does not.
This is still an issue. Is there anything I could provide to help narrow this down?
Sorry to keep you waiting. The last thing I did before ending the log was open MPV to check the video. It stopped recording 21 seconds in.

probably your face detection takes the camera away.
It's running a build of Lineage without GApps and no option for face unlocking is exposed anywhere in my settings. This has also occured on multiple phones (Pixel 5a, Pixel 6) which I think rules out the probability of an app using my camera without knowledge.
Try this version. It requests IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATION.
Uninstall Remove .zip and install
