Plans to support UnifiedPush or other independent push providers

Hi there :)

Are there plans to integrate push providers apart from from apple and google? would you be opposed to a contribution?

(I am coming here lacking push notifications in the "mattermost" app on google-free phones. but having e.g. UnifiedPush support directly in this library would help even more people)
