New arch regression: Anim debug-sync is futile

What happened?

In what seems to be related to the recent transition to RN's new-arch, it seems that the inspection of animations - in particular, became futile. No logs appear in real-time, and when they do, they only mention that the app is already idle (meaning, he inspection was not performed while the app was busy, as it should):

This is not necessarily the case with other idling resources.

What was the expected behaviour?
