[VSCode] Audio not being saved
On macOS when I record a Codio, my audio doesn't get saved into an mp3 file within the Codio. There are no errors in the UI or in the console when I run it in debug mode, just no audio is saved. Playing Codios with audio already in them is not an issue so I don't believe it's a problem with ffmpeg.
@bradydowling Interesting, It seems to work for me.
Can you check if VSCode has access to your microphone? My theory is that maybe at some point you denied VSCode the access to your microphone, which is why ffmpeg does not work when being called from vscode context.
If that is the case, we need to come up with a way to figure that out and warn the user/give an additional prompt.
Hmm, VSCode doesn't even show up in the Privacy > Microphone access list (macOS).
I'll try some of those things out and see if I can get it to trigger the permissions request.
