File chooser not working!

Wire version: 3.26.2941 (Flatpack form Flathub) Wire for web version: 2021.06.01.12.23 Operating system: Linux (Fedora 34, x68_64 running KDE on X.org) Which antivirus software do you have installed: WTF?

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Start Wire App
2. click Avatar (Change your picture...)
3. go to / (root diyrectory)
4. go to /home/$USER

What is the expected result?

1. See all files and directories
2. See symbolic links (symlinks)
3. hide hidden files by default
4. KDE-File chooser because of xdg-desktop-portal is enabled

What is the actual result?

1. /mnt/ is hidden
2. Symlinks to /mnt/ aren't working at all! file chooser doens't follow symlinks.
3. Hidden files are shown by default. Setting not saved.
4. Not really working Gnome file dialogue is opened (it works well, for other GTK/Gnome Apps like Gimp or !)

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

• GTK-file chooser settings are obviously wrong. GTK-file works well for other Apps from Flathub.
• Much more handy would be to integrate the file chooser of the xdg-desktop-portal. The DE own file chooser is always the better choice.

Hi @thommmmmy, the Wire app from Flathub is not officially supported. Also we are just using the built-in Electron dialog. I don't think we can fix anything there.
