Wire throws an unknown exception when shutting down Windows

Wire version: 3.12.3423 Wire for web version: 2020.01.22.1255 Operating system: Windows 7 Prof SP1 Which antivirus software do you have installed: no antivirus software

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Start Wire Desktop App
  2. Minimize to tray
  3. Shutdown Windows either via Alt+F4 and the following dialoge or via the start menun

What is the expected result?

Wire will be closed and windows shuts down

What is the actual result?

Wire throws an unknown exception and the shutdown is delayed Unbenannt - Kopie

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

Screenshot attached. Tell me how to provide more information. The dialoge asks me whether I want to debug, but as soon as I close the dialoge, windows shuts down...

We got multiple reports by other users about this. We hope to fix it with the next release (version 3.16).

I just found https://github.com/electron/electron/issues/18935, which describes exact the same problem. Unfortunately the issue was closed without any response.
