Frequent video chat disconnects

Wire version: 3.9.2928 Operating system: Windows 10 Version 10.0.17134 Build 17134 Which antivirus software do you have installed: Avast Free Antivirus

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Start a video call with another user who also has Windows 10

What is the expected result?

Constant video stream with no network issues. If there is a network issue, it remains connected but lags. If it decides to disconnect, it should auto reconnect.

What is the actual result?

Inconsistent disconnects. Longest period without a disconnect is 1 hour. Shortest period between disconnects is 1 minute. Have to manually reconnect instead of it auto reconnecting.

My internet is gigabit wired internet, the other person's internet is high speed cable (200+ mbit). They can watch a video stream fine which doesn't have any lag, but then Wire will disconnect. They have tried rebooting all their network devices, but the fact that Wire only has this problem points to wire being the culprit. I also do not have any network issues.
