CPU usage goes up when internet connection is lost

If ever connection is lost Wire CPU usage ramp up to almost a full core.

If I then close Wire and open it again, it uses even more CPU and I see about 4 news wire.exe process starting while 4 are closing in an infinite loop.

In combination with the crazy behavior from above Wire doesn't show anything whatsoever when it's being opened while offline.

which version of Wire and which operating system are you using?

3.7.2917 ? On windows 10

I remember the same behavior were happening ~6 months back too.

Same happens for me on Linux, wire 3.10.2904. 100% reproducible.
