Issues with entering characters related to the "." key when switching layouts on Linux

Wire version: 3.1.0-45a20c7 Wire for web version: 2018.04.09.1016 Operating system: Void Linux glibc x86_64 Which antivirus software do you have installed: None

I am having issues entering the characters located on the "." key while using the wire-desktop client. That includes "." / ">" on the en_US layout and "ю" / "Ю" on the ru_RU layout.

Any of those characters simply refuse to enter into the message box.

The issue seems to occur when I switch between keyboard layouts. I am using Ctrl-1 and Ctrl-2 shortcuts bound to "setxkbmap us/ru" for layout switching.

I have no such issues with any other program, including other Electron-based programs.

Web client works perfectly fine as well.

I have tried using both the .deb linked on the website (through debinst.sh) and compiling wire myself, both versions seem to be affected.
