Two of my contacts do not have a picture, Cannot click their name to see Details and devices.
One of them shows nothing a profile picture, the other show a box like it's a group.
Everything works fine with these contacts on desktop app.
@Transisto : The new Wire Android version, 3.78, was just released with a fix to that issue. Please test it and let me know how it works.
They now have pictures but they're the wrong ones, They're pictures of other people I communicate frequently with.
Also can't see account details.
I experienced what sound like an identical issue. I too saw the contact icon change to a group style icon after 3.78. In fact the contact was functioning more like a Group. I could "leave the chat" which would then prevent me from being able to communicate with this contact but could still see new messages they sent me. Then I performed a full synchronization and could chat with them again, albeit with 3.78 thinking they were a group chat but I could not see account details.
A part of the problem also extended to real groups where that contact and I were members, I would not be able to access group details.
So I tried backing up my Wire messages, logged out, cleared Cache and Data , deleted Wire and reinstalled. I restored the backup and the problem persisted.
I finally gave up and just started Wire without restoring the backup and things are working because it seemed like there were subtle other issues that I could not clarify, just odd behavior.
