Wire doesn't support image insertion here

Started getting a toast message "Wire doesn't support image insertion here" when trying to insert a Bitmoji image from keyboard, and the image is not added to the message input field on Wire. It has always worked until a recent update. I am currently experiencing the issue using Wire 3.46.890 on Android 10.

Can confirm it also doesn't work on my end. I also used to be able to send Tenor GIFs from Gboard.

Hi.

Thanks for the report. We never officially supported that functionality. It just worked, a happy coincidence, and I guess may a recent change in GBoard broke that?... Anyway, since there were reports like yours, we made a ticket to bring it back in close future.
