Enhancement: Store cookies on requests

Would it be possible to store the cookie string when requests are made to YT's servers? This could make it easier to implement features like personalized recommendations or even accounts. Of course, it would involve rewriting a large portion of the code, and I'm not very experienced with YT's method of analytics when hardly anything is tracked.
