Feature request : desktop notification

Follow up to my question during the Twitch stream on Oct. 14 :

Have the possiblity to run deb-get periodically and display a desktop notification if there are updates available.

And possible add an option to run deb-get upgrade during the periodic run too. Perfect for family machines that you don’t want to log into periodically but want to benefit from improvements.
